About our Founder

A recipient of the Order of St. Louis IX Medallion award, “Outstanding Pro-Life Parish” ACCESS Pregnancy Center Award, the “St. Elizabeth Guild Volunteer Activist” Award, and the recipient of a $25,000 Grant from the Catholic Women’s Giving Circle of the Catholic Community Foundation, Natasia has dedicated her life to serving the Church and her community. Her focus on the intersection of faith, service, and educating children led Natasia to create the Choose the Child Foundation, a Respect Life Program, which provides educational materials to teachers and parents.

Natasia is the author of the Footprints for Life Program, a faith-based educational program that focuses on the importance of human dignity and teaching children how to love and respect others and protect life. As an educator and volunteer in New Orleans area schools, Natasia strives to teach our young people that they can make a big difference with the smallest of actions.

She is a Respect Life Co-Coordinator for the Archdiocese of New Orleans and serves as the Executive Director of her Choose the Child Foundation. A former educator at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Belle Chasse and St. Elizabeth Ann Seton in Kenner, Natasia is involved in numerous volunteer activities, including the Advisory School Board President, and Founder and Moderator of the Footprints for Life Club at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton School. She also serves as an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion, a Member of the Marriage Ministry Committee, and a Director of the Respect Life Ministry for Divine Mercy Parish.

Natasia is a former Board Member of New Orleans Right to Life, an Honorary Board Member of ACCESS Pregnancy Center, and was a Committee Chairperson for the Women’s New Life Clinic Gala. One of her most proud roles was Co-Founding and Directing Auto Dealers for Life with her dad.

Natasia’s service to her community has involved many different roles, but her favorite roles are as a wife of 30 years to her husband, Ricky, mom to her 6 children, ages 13-28, and her newest role as grandma to her first grandchild who just is 2 years old.
